The Three Pillars of Sikhism Guru Nanak Dev Ji formalized three basic guidlines for Sikhs:
Sikhs strive to keep God’s Name (Waheguru) in their heart and actions at all times, living with humility,
gratitude, and spiritual awareness.
Sikhs are committed to working with integrity, without deceit, exploitation, or dishonesty.
Sikhs are called to share their earnings, time, and resources with the needy and to support community
well-being.
These principles emphasize the unity of humankind, selfless service to others, upholding justice, fostering a strong sense of community, and living an honest life based on truthful conduct.
To nurture a world where:
• God’s presence is remembered in every heart
• All humans are treated with fairness and respect
• The hungry are fed and the suffering are comforted
• Life is lived with courage, humility, and righteousness
• Peace, harmony, and unity prevail among all people
